From September through December, Center Stage will dance into the hearts of Fontana residents with several dancing programs and showcases as well as other entertaining shows.
For dance enthusiasts, “Dancing on the Ceiling” will run until September 19. With oldies, but goodies from the seventies and eighties coming to life one song at a time, this program is sure to take audience members of all ages on a trip through several musical generations. General admission for this fun-filled retro journey is only $25.00, but adults can enjoy dinner and show for $57.95.
“I am still in awe at how the cast packed so much fun into one evening, all while serving a delectable dinner. Dancing on the Ceiling is the most enjoyable performance I have seen in years” said Angie Wilson from the Riverside Arts Council.

While you’re traveling back in time, grab your records and pinstripe
suits as you meet Nomax, who’s just experienced a bad break-up and is
completely broke in “Five Guys Named Moe.” Travel back to the 1930s
with hits like “Let the Good Times Roll” and of course “Five Guys Named
Moe” at this Tony Award-winning musical running September 24 through
October 17. General admission tickets cost $28.00 with food and
beverages also available.
So you think you can dance? If you’d
rather be involved in the action instead of simply watching, then
“Inland Empire Can Dance” is the program for you. Auditions will be
held at Center Stage on November 9. The best dancers from auditions
will dance alongside today’s hottest dancers at the main event November
12 – 14.
Finally, end your year with good cheer at “Holiday Follies
2010” starting November 26 and continuing through December 28. This
world-renowned Christmas spectacular will leave you and your family
full of holiday spirit. General admission is $25.00 with price
increases up to $57.95 for dinner and a show.
Also at Center Stage,
“Noches con Ritmo” continues every first and third Thursday of every
month. The evening will consist of the best Latin bands, dance
instruction as well as food and beverages available to order. Dance
instruction begins at 7 p.m. Live entertainment and an open
dance floor begin at 8 p.m. The event is open to anyone 18 and older for only
a five-dollar admission fee.
Each show and event has something to
offer everyone. Whether you prefer disco suits, dancing or classic 50s
moments, Center Stage is the place to be September through December.
